- Description
- The US Fish and Wildlife Service plans on making an award to the Desert Research Institiute to conduct the following work: Monitor water temperature at 2 data collection stations at both ends of the study area. Characterize the thermal regime of Warm Springs and Muddy River to include specifications for the installation and operation of multiple temperature data loggers and integrate results into a GIS. Conduct measurements of effective shade by riparian vegetation and evaluate the effects of varying levels of shade on water temperature dynamics of the spring channel. Integrate data collection results into a temperature model and produce a report describing water temperature simulations using the refined model over the entire annual cycle. Deliverable: Technical Memorandum. Review the report that integrates temperature, IFIM, and other ecological results related to flow impacts on the habitat of Moapa Dace. Interested Parties have Seven (7) days to respond to this notice. If after 7 days, no one has responded, award will be made to the Desert Research Institute.
