- NA This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to purchase on a sole source basis four (4) High pressure, Low-noise, Vaneaxial CPS Supply Fans (three (3) fan size A104 and one (1) fan size A105) from American Fan Company, 2933 Symmes Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. These fans are required for shipboard installation as part of the Shipboard CPS Backfit Program. The fans must comply with stringent airflow and noise level performance requirements as per the purchase specifications. American Fan Com! pany is the only known domestic manufacturer and distributor of these items and will provide them by the required delivery date of 1 July 2005. No other source is expected to acquire the special tooling needed, and manufacture the fans within this time constraint. The successes of the CPF Backfit Program installations depend heavily on the timely performance of these fans within specific requirements. Items are to be priced FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA. Award is anticipated by 30 September 2004 Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
