- Description
- The U.S Central Command intends to enter into a sole source simplified acquisition with I2 Incorporated for the following software for defining, analyzing, portraying, producing, and sharing information to combat terrorism analysts. Acquisition of these license will ensure full compatibility and will facilitate information sharing with both the intelligence community and forward based force protection elements. It is the Federal Government?s belief that only I2 Incorporated can provide the above software. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responses received within 7 days from the posting of this notice will be reviewed and evaluated. Interested companies having the capability to provide the above described equipment and services should submit, in writing, their capability statement with cost information to scott.barnhart@gsa.gov or fax to 256-895-5898. Telephone requests will also be honored at 256-895-5144. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of offers received, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. It is understood that FedBid ranks all bids by price, regardless of the evaluation criteria used by the buyer. Instructions 13 All services and products provided in response to this requirement shall comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d) and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronics and Information Technical (EIT) Accessibility Standard (36 CFR part 1194). Quote must include statement addressing compliance or noncompliance with Section 508. Instructions 14 Quote must include verification that the product and/or services have been evaluated and validated by the NSA or in accordance with NSA-approved processes in accordance with Defense Confidentiality DCAS-1 (see also DODI 8500.2, February 6, 2003).
