Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Network Business Center Logistics Office (NBC) located in Long Beach, CA intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) o/a 9-21-04, to establish a contract for approx 174 different Custom Sterile Surgical Packs in varying estimated quantities (total annual estimate of over 153,000 packs) to fifteen (15) Government Healthcare facilities located within VA VISN 18, VISN 19, VISN 20, VISN 21, VISN 22, VISN 16, including three DoD facilities within the same geographical boundaries. BID SAMPLES ARE REQUIRED and must be submitted with proposal by the due date specified. Contract shall consist of one (1) base year and four (4) optional one-year periods. This RFP is issued on an unrestricted basis, seeking full and open competition. However, in an effort to support the small business goals established by the Secretary of the VA to the maximum extent possible, small business concerns interested in this procurement in whole, or in part, are encouraged to submit an offer, as it is the intent of the Government to give first consideration to proposals received from small business concerns. Proposals will be due o/a 11-18-04. All requests for this RFP must be made in writing with complete company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact to: Larry R.
