Description

THIS WILL BE A REVERSE AUCTION ACQUISITION The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract to purchase 524 packages Infrared Glo Tape 1 inch squares with Velcro (Part No. IFF-980P) and 780 packages of IR Glo Tape Soldier Combat Helmet Identification Marking Systems (SCHIMS) (Part No. I FF-980H). The proposed contract will include two (2) options each for the following quantities: 1,389 packages of IR Glo Tape and 2,084 packages of IR Glo Tape SCHIMS. Each package contains 144 per pack. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics (CECOM) ha s established a Business Opportunity Page website to allow electronic transmittal of quotes and proposals from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information via the Inter active Business Opportunities, the Armys Single Face to Industry at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Upon accessing this web page, select CECOM & Electronics Command. Registration for a user ID and password will only be through the IBOP. Offers shall be su bmitted directly to the Contracting Officer. Reverse Auction procedures will apply to this procurement. Award will be made by the lowest price submitted under the reverse auction technique. The date of the Reverse Auction is TBD. Those offerors/bidders in vited to participate in the Reverse Auction will be notified and issued passwords and login to be used to access the auction. If you are selected to participate in the Auction, Contractor must pre-register prior to submitting electronic bids. All files sub mitted on this site shall be in the format specified in the solicitation instructions. Currently, files shall be prepared in either Microsoft (MS) Word for Windows Version 6, Rich Text Format (RTF), MS Excel Version 5, and MS Power Point Version 4 (dependi ng on the type of document being generated). If a contractor creates a file using another software product; it is the contractors responsibility to convert the fie into one of the above formats prior to uploading the files electronically.
