Description
THE QUANTITY HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM SIX (6) UNITS TO SEVEN (7) UNITS. The Following Questions and Answers on the subject solicitation are hereby posted. Question: 1. The picture indicates that the mock-ups are made entirely from aluminum with the exception of the flooring. Do you have a specific requirement on materials that are used for construction Answer: We require the frame be fabricated in a metal and sealed to provide adequate weather protection. There are no other specific material requirements. Question: 2. Can you advise the desired delivery date of the units Answer: One time delivery of all seven (7) units within 365 days after contract award. Question: 3. Are there still requirements for troops seats in each mock-up and is that number still for 18 troops? Answer: Yes, Eighteen (18) seats are still the correct number needed. The troop seats must be stowable and come complete with seat belts. The seats need not be safety certified for crash impact. Question: 4. The pictures show one door and the ramp doors. Do you want 3 doors or one door and is that door to be in location as indicated in the picture? If you want three doors, can you show door locations in a drawing or by some written explanation? Answers: We want two (2) cargo doors on each side of the plane (opposite one another) just rear where the wing assembly would be located on a normal CASA 212 aricraft. Question: 5. Will the winner have the chance to view the mock-up in picture personally? Answer: Yes, if needed, an on site inspection of the existing mock-up or an actual aircraft can be scheduled after award of the contract. Quesiton: 6. Can progress payments be made under the resulting contract. Answer: Yes, the vendor/contractor must state/request progress payments and then explain the method of progress payments (cost, percentage...etc. and billing cycle (monthly, quarterly..etc.)) QUOTES ARE DUEl Not Later Than (NLT) 3:00 P.M.
