- Description
- The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services in or near Pasco/Kennewick (Franklin and/or Benton County), WA; for the drug abuse treatment services and mental health services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2009. The services required for this contract include: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively: Estimated Number of Inmates 17. (17) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 12 Individual units x 17 inmates = 204 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 24 Group Units x 17 inmates = 408 total units. Family Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 12 Family Units x 17 inmates = 204 total units. Mental Health Services: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively Estimated Number of Inmates 5. (5) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (1 per inmate). (18) Medication Monitoring (one for 3 of 5 inmates x 6 visits per inmate). Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minute sessions per inmate) 12 Mental Health Individual Counseling x 5 inmates = 60 total units. Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minute sessions per inmate) 24 Mental Health Group Counseling x 5 inmates = 120 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work, dated January 2004. The estimated closing date is o/a June 28, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The RFQ will be posted o/a May 28, 2004. Responsible sources must be able to provide or act as a referral agent for mental health services on an as needed basis. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
