- UNICOR intends to enter into a firm fixed price definite delivery definite quantity type contract for equipment to be delivered FOB Destination Forrest City, AR. Solicitation number is FN1210-04 and this solicitation is issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP). Item 0001 - Cut off Saw Model Whirlwind 212, Qty: One (1) , U/M: Each, Item 0002 - Drawer Clamps Ritter MFG Model R-875, Qty: Two (2), U/M: Each, Item 0003 - Floor Drill Press 20" 9 speed, Delta Model 7-200, Qty: One, U/M: Each. This is a brand name or equal requirement. Offerors may propose an equal product as long as it meets the specification of the brand name equipment. Offerors shall provide descriptive literature of equal product with the submission of solicitation on the offer closing date. If offerors do not provide descriptive literature with proposal, the proposal will not be considered. Additional Specifications will be provided in solicitation document. Machinery to be delivered FOB Destination to FCI Forrest City, 779 SFC 806, Forrest City, AR 72335. Delivery is 30 days after receipt of delivery order. All pricing shall be FOB Destination FCI Forrest City, 779 SFC 806, Forrest City, AR 72335 and shall include freight. Warranty of machinery is required. Pricing shall include delivery, set-up and training of UNICOR staff at FCI Forrest City after machinery has been installed. Manuals of machinery shall also be included. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal for Equipment. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a multiple award basis. Offers shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Office Furniture Group, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. Solicitation number shall be referenced on the envelope for all offers. Fax proposals are accepted by the offer closing date and time at 202-353-7794. An original copy of the offer shall be mailed to the Bid Custodian within 2 days of offer closing date. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: specification, past performance and pricing. This is a best value procurement. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Solicitations may be obtained from our website at ww.unicor.gov/procurement/profurniture.htm and www.eps.gov. Additional information and specifications will be provided in solicitation document. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation will be available on UNICOR?s website and www.eps.gov on or about September 13, 2002. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
