Description

Sole-Source BOS Annoucement Classification: 65-Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment & Supplies 261-0310-04 NAICS: 422210 Pursuant to the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) the Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source purchase with Atlanta Biologicals, 1425 Oakbrook Drive, Norcross, GA 30090 for purchase of 200 - 500 ml bottles of FBS-P (bovine serum), Catalog # S11150, Lot # C0174 for the VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, 94121. All 200 bottles will be stored at the vendor?s facility at no charge. Individual delivery orders of 24 bottles will be shipped as needed (approximately every 90 days) at no cost to the Government. The entire 200 bottles will be from the same lot. The Government has determined that this is the only responsible source that will strictly adhere to the requirements of the above referenced medical center based on extensive research testing of similar bovine serums. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package will be made available. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone or e-mail inquires will be accepted.
