- Description
- The Government has a requirement for an electronic vibration test system for generating vibration or mechanical shock with sinusoidal, random, or transient input signal excitation. The following major components are required: an electrodynamic shaker system rated at 25,000 pounds force sine, with water-cooled stators and field coils; an air cooled power amplifier; a direct current supply for excitation of the shaker DC field and degauss coil; a shaker cooling blower; and interconnecting cables and hoses. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. Delivery will be required by 15 May 2005. Delivery will be FOB NSWC Crane, with final inspection and acceptance testing at destination. The contractor will be required to install and check out the system at NSWC Crane prior to final inspection. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees.
