- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to All Weather, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-04-JMT-0105. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to relocate the Automated Surface Observing System located in Cheivres, Belgium. This will include providing complete site preparation, complete disassembling and removal, complete installation, checkout and acceptance testing. Only the original manufacturer, All Weather, Inc. has the only certified technicians qualified to perform work on this system. This procurement is for the Department of the Army OFallon, IL. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by close of business, 9/23/2004 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
