The camera shall be capable of being fully integrated with software that allows for detailed real-time digital analysis. NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from FLIR Systems, Inc., N. Billerica, MA. FLIR Systems is the only known source that has a product that meets NASA's specifications for weight, resolution, frame rate, connectivity, and integration. The FLIR Systems ThermoVision A20M with Researcher HS Package is the camera that NASA is procuring. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 17, 2004.
