- Description
- Military Commissary Deli and Bakery Operations. Anticipated issue date: 10/04/04. Delivery date: 02/27/05. Contractor is to provide services, supervision, food products, and supplies/equipment (other than that identified as government furnished) necessary to operate a highly efficient, well stocked deli and bakery resale operations at the following locations: Bitburg, Darmstadt, Hanau, Rhein-Main, Schinnen, Spangdahlem, Wiesbaden, Chievres, Baumholder, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Patch Barracks, Ramstein, Sembach, Vogelweh, Ansbach, Bamberg, Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels, Kitzingen, Schweinfurt, Vilseck, Wuerzburg, RAF Alconbury, RAF Fairford, RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Menwith Hill, Naples, Sigonella, and Vicenza within the Germany, United Kingdom, and Italy areas. The contractor is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, displaying, merchandising and processing products for sale to commissary patrons. The contractor will also be responsible for source loading all products and delivering the products to the Port of Embarkation (POE). The Government will be responsible for paying the transportation cost from the POE to the commissary. This Performance Based Services Acquisition describes the requirement in terms of outcome or results; the "how" is left to the contractor, affording the contractor more flexibility in achieving the desired results. Performance shall be for a base period of 24 months plus two 1-year options. The NAICS code is 445110 for this requirement with an assigned threshold of $23,000,000.
