- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: 1 ea. Donaldson Torit Model DF0 4-32 Downflo Oval Dust Collection System with an abrasion resistant inlet, 40 Hp, backwared inclined remote mounted fan complete with fan outlet damper, motor, UL labeled control panel, starter, timer board, disconnect, digital delta P controller and prewired transformer in a NEMA rated enclosure with a ten year manufacturers warranty covering mmaterial and workmanship or equal. 1 ea. Electrical Control Panel including motor sarter, circuit protection for each motor, a transformer, pulse cleaning controls, a Torit Delta P control mounted in the panel door, start/stop buttons, and a flange mounted disconnect switch. All components are IEC rated; the enclosure is rated NEMA 12 with 460 primary voltage. 1 ea UL Labeled or equal. 1. AIR REQUIREMENTS: FAN: Capacity at 16,000 acfm @ 10" wg total static pressure BLOWER: model 30, RPM 1881, Bhp: 31.3 Includes: Slip fit inlet and flanged outlet,access door, OSHA shaft and bearing guard, belt guards, clean/out door, and drain. Arrangement class 3. fan complete with 40hp, 460Volt, TEFC motor, exterior surface painted, this unit will be mounted outside. 2. USE: To be used for collecting dust for abrasive blast booth @ 16W x 20H x 16L at 50 fpm across the face 3. EPA REQUIREMENTS: The standard that we have to meet with particulate emmissions is under Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District Rule 304 Particulate Matter Northern Zone and Rule 306 Dust and Fumes which means "A person shall not discharge into the atmosphere from any source particulate matter no greater than 0.3 grain /cubuc ft of gas at standard conditions" and must meet 95% control efficiency. the unit must have a monitoring control device such as the Torit Photohelic meter and have instrutions for filter change-out. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) F1576M42391000. Submit written offers, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and DFARS Change Notice 20040625. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333411 , Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement.
