- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F13EDS42171500 as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Subpart 13.5. This requirement is for the purchase of 2 each, Reelmaster 6500-D 2wd with 11-bl cutting unit with front and rear rollers, armrest kit, fabric canopy, rear roller and scraper kit. It has a Kubota 4-cylinder engine with a rear engine design, the manufactureer is Toro. The desired delivery date is 1 Dec, 2004. Ship the entire quantity to SOC/Ritchey Center, 50 Chennault Circle, Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112-6424. Point of Contact is SSgt Eric Smith at (334) 953-1506. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) change notice June 25, 2004. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the Squadron Officer College on Maxwell AFB, Alabama. This acquisition is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 333112 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by either reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2004) applies to this acquisition. Submit proposals via email or facsimile to the information below. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose proposal conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and in Wide Area Work Flow before an award can be made. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2004), DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (Nov 1995), and DFARS 252.225.7000, Buy American Act – Balance of Payments Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the proposal.
