Description
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ), no.INL- 0110-493002. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order for one portable shelter to be used as a maintenance hangar for a Schweizer aircraft. Specifications: The U.S. Embassy, Bogota, Colombia has a requirement for one portable shelter. This shelter will be used as a hangar for a Schweizer aircraft to provide protection and an area for maintenance. The portable shelter will be installed in Colombia in an area that has a tropical climate. Therefore the shelter must be able to withstand heat and high humidity. The shelter must be capable of being anchored to a concrete slab or to pavement and be able to have a wind load of 80 MPH and seismic load - zone four design. Interested offerors should quote pricing FOB Destination as stated below and provide all technical specifications and any required accessories. Offerors shall state their standard warranty they offer in their response to the RFQ. Items to be shipped FOB destination to Robertson Freight Forwarding Co. 4469 NW 97th Ave. Miami, Florida 33178; telephone 305-477-5548; fax 305-477-5435. The contractor will be required to coordinate delivery with the freight forwarder. Delivery order must be marked on the outside of the packing container. Note: Pricing MUST include pre-paid shipping - surface. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment to CONUS destination and onward shipment to Colombia without repacking or incurring damage during shipment and handling. Prices should be FOB destination Miami. Award will be made based on lowest priced, technically acceptable.
