If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. DESC: Solicitation SP0100-04-R-0177 is for Cloth, Serge, Poly/Wool Marine Corps Green Shade 2243. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8305-01-320-4843. The purchase description is CID-A-A-50532 dated 19 September 1990. The purchase quantity is 16,572 yards. There are no term options available. The destination is Albany, GA. The production leadtime is 330 days with 4 deliveries. First Article in the amount of 2,000 yards is required. If First Article is waived, Production leadtime is reduced to 210 days. This is a Best Value acquisition with Source Selection Procedures. The following factors will be used in descending order of importance: Past Performance, and Quality Assurance. This solicitation will be issued as an Unrestricted buy that will result in a firm fixed price definite quantity contract. All materials used in the fabrication of an end item are to be furnished by the Contractor. The Government does not intend to use FAR Part 13 for this acquisition. Reference Numbered Notes 9 and 26.
