- Description
- It is the intent of the Government to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Advanced Electromagnetics Technology Group. It is a development effort to manufacture one Fixed Site Active Denial System (ADS). The ADS is a non-lethal counter-personnel directed energy weapon system that uses millimeter wave energy. This effort is an enhancement to the ADS Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) previously awarded to Raytheon. The proposed contract action is for development or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received within 15 calendar days of publication will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 26.
