- NSN: 1015-01-301-3213 (PN 12577113); NSN 5340-01-304-6584 (PN 12577119; NSN 5306-01-292-5237 (PN 12577116); NSN: 5360-01-292-7778 (PN 12577139); NSN 3040-01-297-6580 (PN 12577114). The items being procured on this solicitation are the Buffer Mechan ism Assy and 4 of its components as follows: Assy Clamp Handle; Bolt, Internal Wrench; Spring, Helical Comp; and Sleeve Nut; for use on the 120mm Mortar. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with three pricing periods. The guaranteed minimum quantities are as follows: 25 each PN 12577113; 180 each PN 12577119; 200 each PN 12577116; 520 each PN 12577139 and 95 each PN 12577114. The maxim um quantities per ordering period are as follows: 40 each PN 12577113; 200 each PN 12577119; 200 each PN 12577116; 800 each PN 12577139 and 125 each PN 12577114. The Buffer Assy (PN 12577113) is a multi-component item consisting of numerous machined comp onents as well as steel cast components. The assembly consists of machined shafts, barrel collar, buffer housing, a 17 inch free length spring, machined pins, etc. Heat treatment, mag part, and phosphate coating is required. Also required are inspection plug gages, thread gages and two complex holding fixtures. The approximate size is 12 inches long x 10 inches wide x 10 inches high. FOB is Destination. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY04 requirement. Estimated issue date is 27 Sep 04. T his solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the int ernet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing l ist. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time se t for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (opti onal), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
