Description
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California has a requirement for a 5-ft planter rangeland drill (delivery point is Reno, Nevada). This drill has two groups of five disc opener arms arranged for casting soil toward the center of the drill, equalizing disc thrust; spaced 12-inches apart, attached to main frame to allow independent vertical action when passing over rocks, brush or other obstacles (a rugged planter for mountainous and rocky terrain); features disc opener shafts with maintenance-free tri-ply seal ball bearings. Rangeland drill shall include a hydraulic system and 3-box system with fluffy box. Interested offerors should contact Clarice Dixson at 510-559-6027 or via e-mail cdixson@pw.usda.gov to be placed on the bidders list for this solicitation.
