Description

The US Bureao of reclamation has a requirement for uniformed security services to patrol and inspect the 26 mile length of the Folsom-South Canal, Sacramento, CA. The Contractor is responsibe to ensure there is no looting or vandalism to government property, and to enforce with authorative presence no fishing, boating or swimming for entire length of canal. Driving the canal road and periodic stops to inspect areas will be required. Hours of Duty: Approximate. (Less hours after daylight saving time) Weekends: 1 hour after sunset on Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am - 10:00pm Weekdays: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday through Friday. Total Hours: 55 hours/week. Solicitation 05SQ240029 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 1, 2004 quotes due on or before November 1, 2004. The solicitation and specification can be downloaded at the above site. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the CCR database, http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of contract.
