Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intents to award a sole-source order to Command and Control Environment for 213 W. Hudgins St., Grapevine TX 76501 for custom made sit/stand consoles with mill work that are specifically manufactured for use in equipment control environments. The consoles are equipped with ergonomic features, ADA compatibility , and reconfiguration flexibility offered by the Evans/Axiom design. Command and Control Environment has proprietary rights on the design of the consoles and is the only known source that can meet our requirement. The award will be processed under exception 41 USC 253 ( c ) (1), only one responsible source, because of vendors pre-existing consoles and current use of consoles to complete and keep uniformity of the replacement of obsolete consoles.. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
