Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-05-Q-MD509, is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110 and Small Business Size Standard is $6.0M. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Item Description: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 001 - Lodging, 10 Two-Bedroom, Two-Bath Units, for 334 days, from November 1, 2004 (check-in) thru September 30, 2005 (checkout); CLIN 002 ? Lodging, Two Two-Bedroom, One-Bath Units, for 334 days, from November 1, 2004 (check-in) thru September 30, 2005 (checkout); CLIN 003 ? Lodging, Seven One-Bedroom, One-Bath Units, for 334 days, from November 1, 2004 (check-in) thru September 30, 2005 The lodging units must be furnished with linens, housekeeping, telephone, cable T.V. services, refrigerator, microwave oven, on-site laundry facility, parking and 24/7 physical access control. A single location of the lodging units is preferred. The geographic location for consideration is limited to facilities located within 8 miles from the U S Coast Guard Group Mayport located at 4200 Ocean St., Mayport, FL 32233, on the south side of St. Johns River. Include the address and distance (mileage) of the lodging facility to Group Mayport. Include all available amenities, check-in and check-out times, and cancellation policy prior to and during occupancy. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance, quality, and other factors considered. OFFERS will only be considered from Offerors whose lodging facilities ARE COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE THE LODGING FACILITY FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U S FIRE ADMINISTRATION. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions of FAR Clauses 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (JAN 2004), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2003), 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business, and 52.232-18 Availability of Funds apply to this solicitation. The provisions of FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2004) shall be completed and submitted with the RFQ. PLEASE READ, COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION PARTICULARLY FAR PROVISIONS 52.212-1 and 52.212-3. Quotes are due no later than September 30, 2004, 12:00 noon EST.
