- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation RFQ-IBET-17-04-176 (iii) The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #24. (iv) Not set aside. (v). Line Item 1: 139 squares of cedar shakes (11-inch exposure) ; Line Item 2: 3 squares of cedar shingles (310 lf?to be used as cant shingles); Line Item 3: 1844 board feet of roughcut cedar lumber in these dimensions and quantities:. 420 lf of 2x14; 420 lf of 2x12; 20 lf of 1x8; 20 lf of 1x6. All Line Items: FOB DESTINATION. (vi) 1. Shakes shall be Class B fire-rated, Blue-Label, straight-grained HANDSPLIT straight shakes (with no taper) that are 36 inches long plus or minus one-half inch, 6 inches wide plus or minus one-half inch, and three-eighths inch thick plus or minus one-eighth inch. 2. Shingles shall be Class B fire-rated, Blue-Label, tapered shingles that are 24 inches long plus or minus one-half inch, 6 inches wide plus or minus 1 inch, and three-eighths inch thick plus or minus one-eighth inch at the butt end. 3. This lumber, and only this lumber, does not need a fire-class rating. The lumber shall be a full 2 inches and full 1 inch thick. Knots are acceptable. At least 80 percent of the roughcut lumber shall be in 20-foot lengths. The remainder may be in 5-foot to 10-foot lengths. (vii) Delivery: Baldwin Estates parking lot, Tallac Historic Site, off US Highway 89, South Lake Tahoe, California 96150. Delivery between April 1 and April 25, 2005. . One week?s notice prior to delivery is required, with additional notice 24 hours in advance. Contact Cathy Bickenheuser at (530) 543-2673 or Gene Smith at (530) 543-2718 with the delivery notice. Deliveries can be made Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. A forklift will not be available at the delivery site to unload the delivery truck. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) No special evaluation factors apply. (x) Return a completed copy of Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (52.212-3) with the offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) Clause 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following specific clauses (identified by sequence number) apply: 1,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,22,23,25,30 (xiii) There are no additional contract requirements. (xiv) DPAS is not applicable.
