Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Region is conducting a Market Survey to identify 8(a) Certified Businesses, currently licensed in the State of New York, Counties of Nassau and Suffolk, in the business of providing Contract Security Guard Services for a continuous period of the past five (5) years and located within 100 miles of the FAA, Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), MacArthur Airport, Ronkonkoma, NY. The agency???s requirement is to provide Armed Guard Services at the FAA, NY TRACON, Westbury, NY and FAA, NY ARTCC, Ronkonkoma, NY. Services are estimated to commence on December 1, 2004. There are Four (4) one-year option periods beginning October 1, 2005. The contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, equipment (other than Government Furnished Equipment), uniforms, transportation, and supervision. This survey is not a Request for Proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Responses to this survey are voluntary and at the responders expense; no costs associated with responding to this survey will be reimbursed. To be considered qualified to perform this effort, Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) that are 8(a) Certified, must clearly demonstrate experience, capability and financial capability. Companies meeting the criteria listed herein are invited to submit a summary of capabilities. The summary must include evidence of expertise, knowledge and skills in the field of Guard Service for a continuous period of the immediate past five (5) years. Interested companies must also include a copy of their 8(a) Certification from the SBA, a letter from their financial institution regarding credit worthiness of company and financial capability and certificate of licensing documentation. Contractors must have an active business address and phone number for a minimum of one (1) year and be within a hundred (100) mile radius of Ronkonkoma, NY. This Market Survey is being conducted to aid the FAA in identifying prospective companies. All responses must be received no later than close of Business (4:00 P.M.), on October 7, 2004.
