Description

The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Southeastern Sight and Sound Inc. This procurement is to upgrade the Close Circuit Television System installed by Southeastern Sight and Sound, which is still under warranty. This procurement will include procuring the Pelco DX8016-1000DVD, 16 CH DVR with 1 TB HDD, Pelco DX 8000-AUD 8-channel audio option, Shure MX202WP/N ciling microphone, DSP110 Microphone processor w/rackmounts, ST-MX3 line leveling mixer, 712N 17" LCD VGA monitor, installation, materials, and freight. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 (ii) The anticipated award date is 27 Sep 04. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal and not a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This requirement is subject to FAR Clause 52.232-18 "Availability of Funds" (APR 1984). The closing date for this Synopsis is 24 Sep 2004 at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
