Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Safe Environment Engineering, 25601 W. Ave Stanford Ste 30, Valencia CA 91355 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, materials, tools, parts, hazardous and safety equipment (including prescription safety glasses), personal protective equipment, transportation and other incidentals necessary to perform daily on-site evaluation, Preventive and Remedial Maintenance (PM/RM) on OC-ALC/MAB?s Personal Hazardous Area Monitoring Systems (PHAMS). The period of performance will be one year from contract award. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 20 Oct 04. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
