- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is FA5587-F4AMXS42510200-DEICER and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Funds for this acquisition are pending availablity of end of year funding. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. This acquisition is unrestricted. The U.S. Air Force 48 Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for: CLIN 0001: 3 x Aircraft DeIcer, 700 gallon Fluid Storage Facility, Deicing System- 600 gallon capacity, 40 gpm at 150 psi, Anti-icing system ? 100 gallon capacity, Fluid Level Gauges (truck cab control panel mounted), Fluid Level Sight Gauges, DeIcing Fluid Tank Suction Strainer, Ground Hose Reel, Electric Rewind with 30 ft hose and deicing nozzle, Two- Engine Design (Truck engine and auxiliary engine) Ford f450 Diesel- Powered Chassis Engine hour meter Overhead cab window with wiper Tow hooks ( 2 rear , 1 rear) Dicing fluid temperature gauge Deutz Four Cylinder Diesel Powered Auxiliary Engine Engine hour meter Automatic Engine Fault Shutdown Open Basket for Operator 350 pound capacity One piece boom Maximum Height is 28 feet Boom Stow Interlock System SAGE Instant Fluid Heating System Diesel- Powered with 1000000 BTU/HR out put Variable Speed Fuel and Blower for maximum efficiency Heater Maintenance/ Diagnostic Indicator Lights- Cab Control Panel Heater Hour Meter Intercom System. David Clark Headset (truck to open basket) Safety Shutdown Systems Emergency Shutdown control system Hydraulic System Low Level Shutdown System Fluid Tank, Low Level Shutdown Sytem Quote must include shipping to an APO AE address. Delivery date for all items: To be as soon as possible as these items are required urgently. Location is 48 AMXS, RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk, United Kingdom Far provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to this requirement. If quote is for an ?equal? product, specifications of the item must be included in quotation. Far provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days to 60 calendar days. Far provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: Paragraph (a) is filled in with (1) Price and (2) Technical Capability of the item to meet the Government needs; paragraph (b) does not apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, without addenda and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, without addenda, applies to this acquisition (including: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52,222.37and 52.232-33).
