Description

The Defense Contracting Command-Washington, on behalf of OSD Executive Secretariat, intends to make a sole source award to SafLink located at 1875 Campus Commons Drive Suite 301, Reston, VA 20191 to purchase Biometric Solution. SECDEF Networks requ ires a complete solution for biometrics logon using finger print biometric technology. Biometric must be fully intergrated with and supported by Microsoft Active Directory 2003. Hardware devices for desktops must use standard 2.0 USB computer ports. The se USB devices must also support the DoD PKI/CAC cards issued to DoD employees and contractors. This software must be compliant with: ANSI INCITS 358-2002, BioAPI Specification, Version 1.1 Feb 13, 2002, NIST, NISTIR 6529, Common Biometric Exchange File Format(CBEFF), January 3, 2001. Hardware devices for laptops must support PCMCIA computer slots. SafLink make the only biometric software product that meets all of the above requirements and supports multiple devices, which includes a combination fingerprint and CAC card reader. This notice will be posted for seven days.
