Description

The purpose of the intended action is to issue a modification of the Firm-Fixed Price Contract N00421-04-C-0076 awarded to Talla-Com, Inc. located at Talla-Com, Inc., 1720 West Paul Dirac Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32310. The contract supports the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Base Station (JBS) Variant Two (V2)D and the United States Air Force Reserve Command (USAFRC) Projects. Since the contract award, the Special Communications Requirements Division (SCRD) has been directed by the sponsor to procure additional requirements. The modification to this contract will fulfill those requirements. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 12.6 and accommodates these requirements by adding the following items to the contract: *** CLIN 0001 Multiband Amplifier (P/N: 15150) (Quantity 44 EA)***The JBS V2D and USAFRC systems require the amplifiers to provide multi-band (UHF/VHF) mission critical amplified voice and data communications to the users with the Harris AN/PRC-137F radios currently being provided as GFE. Talla-Com, Inc. is the only known vendor with the capability of supplying the requirements to fulfill this requirement. Award is expected 27 September 2004. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all information received by 24 September 2004 1530EST. A determination by the government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not pay for any information received.
