Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia has a potential requirement to procure the following: CLIN 0001 High Pressure Fiber Wrapped Bottles, 5000 psi. Specifications are as follows: 1) Minimum Capacity: 1910ci; 2) Service Pressure: 5000 psi; 3) Type/Material: DOT-CFFC; 4) Nominal Diameter: 8.62?; 5) Nominal Length: 48.40?; 6) Maximum Weight: 46.70 lbs; 7) Port: MS-16; CLIN 0002 Test Unit for Cycle and Burst per DOT requirement for lot acceptance, Quantity 30 each;; CLIN 0002 Western Valve Company On-Off Valve, P/N 12347x1312-22P installed on tanks Quantity 30 each; CLIN 0003: Oxygen Cleaned per RRC-901C, Clear Coat Finish, Quantity 30 each. This Request for Quote (RFQ) H92244-04-Q-0088 is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Submit written offers; oral orders will not be accepted. This combined synopsis/solicitation document is issued on an Unrestricted basis with full and open competition. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24, effective 19 July 2004. North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 333912, size standard 500 employees, applies to this procurement. Deliver FOB: Destination, NSWDG, 1636 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23461-2299. The Government Delivery Date is 4 weeks after date of contract. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition.
