Description
The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure Portable Vehicle Arresting Barriers as required by the Naval Support Activity in Souda Bay, Greece. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The delivery date is negotiable, although the Naval Support Activity has requested delivery as soon as possible. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332999, All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. Contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001, Portable Vehicle Arresting Barriers, 3 each, and Shipping Costs to Norfolk, VA 23511-4506. The Government will arrange for transshipment to Greece, but standard commercial packing for export shipments is required. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The offeror?s proposal shall be in the form prescribed by this solicitation and shall contain enough information about the quoted item to determine that it meets the specifications cited in the solicitation. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http: www.fedbizopps.gov as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
