- The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C. is requesting a quote on the following Brand Name or equal items: Ground preparation for 300 foot tricycle path that is 5 feet wide; Installation of 1500 SF of filter fabric to compacted surface; Installation of 4 inch high rubber curbs (4inx4inx8ft long) as border for 5ft wide path; Installation of 1500 SF of bounded rubber mulch, 1.5 inch high (4 ft fall height); Installation of Kompan elements Ele-400005 Cottage; Installation of 2,075 SF of bounded rubber mulch; Installation of 350 SF of bounded rubber mulch for erosion control; Installation of 16 rubber curbs, 8 inchx12inchx8ft long, installed in tiers; Installation of PS-1010 playshade, (10 ftx10ftx8ft high) over the existing sandbox. Contractor shall perform all equipment installation, required landscaping, and must furnish all materials necessary to perform the job. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is set aside 100% for small businesses. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) # FA4803-04-QS375. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339932, and the size standard is 500 employees. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the provision at *FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: *FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal; *FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; *FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items (Price and Delivery); *FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and *FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; *FAR 252.246-7000, Material Inspection and Receiving Report. Also, Shaw 19 and 21 are applicable. Copies of Shaw clauses will be provided upon request. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the offeror, which offers the best value to the government based on price, delivery time, and technical review of proposal. **Be advised that funds are not currently available for this requirement. The Government?s obligation under this request for quote is contingent upon availability of funds.
