Description
SITE VISIT MINUTES FA4809-04-Q-0423 MOBILE AISLE SYSTEM IN BLDG. 5005 START:1430 END: 1515 1) The site visit began with TSgt Furman Leopard of the 4th SFS handing out a sketch of the mobile aisle layout to all attending contractors. 2) SrA Heather Burnette, Supply Specialist for Bldg. 5005, states that the portable counter shall have 4 swivel castors placed underneath it. 3) The question was asked as to whether the portable counter top should be metal or wood. a) It was determined that the counter top shall be hardwood of a natural color. 4) The question was asked as to whether the counter top needs to be 42? fixed or adjustable. a) It was determined that the counter height shall be 42? fixed including castors. 5) It was determined that the counter doors shall be on the issue side of the counter only with all other sides closed off. 6) It was determined that the mobile aisles shall have six adjustable shelves with 5 openings. a) The shelves will have 24? space and be adjustable on each side. 7) The question was asked as to whether the 24? units should be fixed or mobile. a) It was determined that they shall be mobile. 8) The question was asked as to whether the customer would like mobile aisle system to have a lock-down system incorporated. a) It was determined that the customer requires a lock-down system on the mobile aisle system. 9) It was determined that subpartation shelves would be acceptable as an option. 10) It was determined that the 23? dimension was the maximum depth of the shelves, which shall be adjustable. 11) It was determined that the decking shall be steel but NO corrugated steel allowed. 12) It was determined that the floor covering material for the mobile aisle system shall be rubber matting 13) The question was asked as to whether the mobile aisle unit aisles will be electrical or hand-cranked. a) It was determined that the aisles shall be hand-cranked.
