Description

The Government seeks to award a sole source twelve month requirements contract to the City of Skagway Police Department for detention services and meals for detainees of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Branch located in a remote location in Skagway, AK. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is within the discretion of the Government.. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for the detention services for detainees within the custody of ICE, located in Skagway, AK. The estimated yearly number of detention hours is 1440 and the estimated days of meal usage is 60 days. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612; Size Standard is $10.5 Million. Closing date or response date for this synopsis/quotation ACL-4-Q-0032 is September 28, 2004 at 4:00pm, Pacific Time. Only written responses will be accepted.
