- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) This Solicitation # FA2816-04-R-0019 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. (iv) It is the Contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (v) This acquisition will be set-aside 100% for small business. (vi) The NAICS Code is 423690 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. (vii) Los Angeles Air Force Base has a requirement for Two (2) Each, Imacon Ixpress Digital 96C Backs for Hasselblad 501 CM Cameras, Contract Line Item CLIN 0001; Two (2) Each, Hassselblad V Adapters, CLIN 0002; and Two (2) Each, Sony NP-750 Battery & Charger, CLIN 0003. (viii) The above items must be delivered and accepted FOB Destination within 30 days after contract award. (ix) The provision at FAR 51.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (x) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. (xi) In addition to cost or price, the following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: compliance with solicitation provisions. This evaluation factor is approximately equal to cost or price. (xi) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with their quotations, (DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items). (xii) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. (xiii) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, is also applicable. Specifically, the following clauses are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.224-1, Privacy Act notification and FAR 52.224-2, Privacy Act; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds-Central Contractor Registration (DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registrations); DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders; DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The Government reserves the right to award multiple awards or on an all or none basis.
