- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 FAR Part 13 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is hereby issued and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation/RFQ Number is N68836-04-T-0266 and closes on 27 September 2004. This procurement is issued as Unrestricted will be processed under the Simplified Acquisition procedures (SAP) Demonstration Test Program FAR 13.500. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-20 and class deviation DFARS Change Notice 2004-0113. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 and business size standard of $28.5 million are applicable. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center-Jacksonville, FL is announcing a requirement for the following: Renovation of Leeward Galley Dining Facility, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. CLIN 0001AA-Services to remove the following: existing vinyl tile and carpet approximately 3634 square feet, seven (7) each booths and existing tables and chairs, cashier stand, salad bar, and six (6) each beverage server cabinets, two (2) partitions -approximately 30 feet long and green structure ? approximately 10 feet by 12 feet by 10 feet high, overhead panels and grid systems approximately 3634 square feet CLIN 0001AB- Services to install carpet approximately 1760 square feet, 1874 square feet of vinyl tile diagonally, ceiling panels 2feet by 4 feet, vertical blinds six each , 72 inch wide by 93 inch high, cornice boards six each 72 inch wide by 16 inch high, cornice board to be padded and cover with fabric, partitions two each 32 feet by 9 feet high with two vertical columns s6 feet high with center opening for brass posts and glass panels, twenty-two brass posts with ball tops and twenty-two glass panels, two each vertical half columns, 6 feet high built on bases and mounted on wall, wall mural with tropical scene approximately 24 feet by 4 feet, eight each wall sconces, polished chrome with polished brass center, progress lighting, 15 each ceiling fixtures, polished brass with satin etched glass, eight each exterior lighting fixtures, one exit door, six each silk plants, twenty-four brass coat and hat hooks mounted on wood panels and thirty each lazy susan, one each cashier stand 60 inch by 60 inch by 42 inch high, two each double sided refrigerated cold food units 68 inch long with two double sided sneeze shields and tray rails on both sides, cabinet 40 inch by 30 inch by 42 inch high with drop-in tray dispenser, 4 each bowl dispenser, 10 cylinder silverware rack, tray racks, one each refrigerated sandwich prep table 68 inch ling with condiment rail opening, refrigerator below and tray rail, one each 9 inch beverage serving cabinet, one each 5 feet beverage serving cabinet, one each 4 feet cup and glasses rack cabinet with tray rails, one each reach-in refrigerated ice cream unit, two each 3-hole trash disposal cabinets with lockable wheels 96 inch long, dining tables 24 each, 60 inch diameter with large round bases, dining chairs 168 each, dining tables 20 each outdoor, dining chairs 70 each outdoor, one each chair dolly. CLIN 0001AC- Equipment and material- Carpet, vinyl tiles, ceiling panels, paint, vertical blinds, cornice boars, columns, brass post, glass panels, ball tops, partitions, wall sconces, ceiling fixtures, exterior lighting fixtures, brass coat and hat hook, lazy susan, cashier stand, refrigerated cold food unit, drop-in tray dispensers, tray rails, refrigerated sandwich prep table, refrigerator beverage serving cabinet, glasses rack cabinet reach-in refrigerated ice cream unit, trash disposal cabinet, dining tables-indoor and outdoor, dining chairs-indoor and outdoor, chair dolly. CLIN 0001AD- Services and labor to remove and install equipment and material at the Leeward Galley Dining Facility. CLIN 0001AE Travel and transportation to and from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Pricing will be evaluated against other quotations received. Only those quotations, which have been determined to meet all factors, will be considered for award. (c) Provide prior sale history of same parts sold to DOD and or commercial companies. Provide contract/order number, item, quantity, unit price and the date of sale. Ability to meet the requirements set forth in this RFQ shall be demonstrated by the contractor?s submission of a signed quotation, which has not taken exception to the schedule. Quotations, which take exception and do not meet the Governments requirement, may be determined to be unacceptable and not considered for award. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, the Government intends to evaluate quotations and place acceptable proposals in line for the reverse auction.
