Description
NAICS Code: 315999 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote number is RFQ-DC-04-00349 for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 315999. It is the Government's intent to award a Purchase Order by September 30, 2004 to the vendor whose quote provides the best value to the Government for the items listed below: Official Badges for Environmental Protection Agency On-Scene Coordinators; quantity 250-300. Badge material to be suited for heavy use, have a solid silver color, require no surface plating, be polished to a highly brilliant luster, and have clear coat applied to enhance durability. The US EPA, Emergency Response with United States Environmental Protection Agency Seal to be included in the center of the badge with Dura-Enamel full color seal and Dura-Enamel lettering. The badge will include the following lettering: US EPA (above seal) ON SCENE COORDINATOR (below seal). The style of the badge is Blackinton BH1965-F (or equivalent style). The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations & Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria to be included are the following: a) technical capability and b) price.
