Description

THE ARMY CONTRACTING AGENCY, SOUTHERN REGION, DIRECTORATE OF CONTRACTING ,FORT BLISS, TX intends to award on a sole source basis with Sabre Defence Industries the M6 Pedetsal Mount, as follows: M6 Pedestal Mount, NSN 1005-01-411-6341, 219 each. Sabre Defence Industries is the original equipment manufacturer and only known source for the procurement. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawin gs, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination b y the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Time, September 27, 2004.
