Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the number FA4452-04-Q-A378. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.2, it is the policy of the Government to provide maximum practicable opportunities in its acquisitions for small business concerns. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5, this acquisition has been exclusively set aside for participation by small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611420. Small business size standard is $6.0 Million. Air Mobility Command Communications and Information Directorate, Networks Division, Infrastructure Branch (AMC/A66B) Purchase of Specific Hardware Training Services 22 September 2004 1.0 Background. Organization: This Performance Based Statement of Work (PWS) identifies and defines the tasks required to purchase specific hardware training in support of the Expeditionary Enterprise Network (E2Net) for the Air Mobility Command. 1.1 Specific Tasks: 1.2 Collect and analyze information on the to-be architecture of the E2Net. (Network will be comprised of Cisco 3600 and 800 Series routers using DSL links as well as 12 frame relay links connecting the 12 AMC bases) 1.3 Use E2Net specifics to develop a training plan based solely on the installed and to be architectures. 1.4 Provide instructor and training to at least 24 individuals in two separate week long training sessions on all E2Net installation and maintenance procedures. 1.5 This training must include: Cisco 800 Series Router install, configuration, and maintenance Cisco 3600 Series router install, configuration, and maintenance DSL link establishment and troubleshooting Frame Relay link establishment and troubleshooting 1.6 Provide all courseware and training materials except as specified in Government Requirements 1.7 Provide Government Representatives with a list of all equipment and materials required for course execution at least two weeks ahead of training start date. 1. 8 DELIVERABLES. List of equipment and materials contractor will provide;Instructor and training for 24 individuals in two separate week long training sessions per stated requirements; Training plan to include projected daily syllabus, within 14 days of contract award; Courseware and training materials;List of equipment and materials Government is expected to provide, Two weeks prior to training start date;Resume(s) of contractor-provided instructors 3.0 Government furnished Property: Provide classroom space per contractor requirements Provide necessary network equipment to perform the training on Identify POCs Ensure access to necessary government facilities 4.0. PERFORMANCE. 4.1. Period of Performance. The period of performance for work to be accomplished under this PWS shall be between the dates of Oct 1, 2004 and December 31, 2005. Training sessions will be scheduled within the period of performance per agreement of the Government representative and contractor. 4.2. Place of Performance. The primary place of performance shall be in Government facilities at Scott AFB, IL. 4.3. Hours of Work. Contractor personnel are expected to conform to client agency normal operating hours (07:30 AM Local to 04:30 PM Local). The contractor shall observe all Federal Holidays. 4.4. Safety.
