Description

The government cannot guarantee a bidder will be added to the bidders list if registration is not confirmed via fax to the above fax number. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. This solicitation will be issued on or about October 30, 2004. The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work is demolition and reconstruction of the fish counting station structure inside of the fish ladder. Materials to be removed are the grated walkways, steel structural members, fish counting backboard, picketed leads, and the existing hoists and beams for the hoists. Reconstruction consists of building new grated walkways, inst alling new picketed leads, constructing a new concrete wall which is approx. 13 ft Long x 8 ft wide by 8 in. thick, and installing a new hoist system, hoists will be 2hp, 480 V, 3 phase, and have a lifting capacity of 4,000 lbs,. Entire work area is appro x 50 ft by 20 ft. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. For the purpo se of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28,500,000. This is a set aside procurement in accordance with HUBZone set-aside procedures and FAR 1 9.1305. All responsible HUBZone business sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
