Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 5.202. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA8604- 05-R-6029. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 effective 19 July 2004 and Class Deviation 2004-00001 and DFARS Change Notice 20040917. The following clauses and provisions apply: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5, and DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A. This purchase is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1 to Software Partners Inc. of Topsfield MA, the designer, developer, and exclusive supplier of the Tapesys and Thruway Maintenance Software License System that can satisfy the government requirement. This procurement will be for two (2) one-year priced options. Delivery schedule for Option Year I requirements is ten (10) days after receipt of order with a coverage period of 1 Oct 2005 through 20 Oct 2006. Each of the priced options delivery schedule will be ten (10) days after receipt of option exercise modification with coverage period of twelve (12) months from the previous year?s last day of coverage. Resulting contract will include FAR 52.217-7 ?Option for Increased Quantity- Separately Priced Line Items? in full-text, with notification of thirty (30) days before 1 Oct of each year.
