Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service (BAIHS) is requesting proposals in accordance with the requirements of Request for Proposal (RFP)-244-04-0023-JWB for the provision of Diagnostic Radiologic Technician services for the USPHS Indian Health Service, Blackfeet Community Hospital, Browning, Montana. This procurement is being conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Part 37.1, Personal Services (Public Law 103-332, Department of Interior and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, Title II, September 30, 1994, 108 Stat. 2530, as implemented by 25 U.S.C. 1638c), and FAR 37.6 Performance Based Service Contracting (PBSC). The services include on-site Radiologic Services on weekends from 9:00 pm Friday evening through 6:00 am Monday morning, excluding Federally recognized holidays. The contractor shall be subject to a character investigation as required by Public Law 101-630, Indian Family Violence Prevention Act and Public Law 101-647, Crime Control Act. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four 12-month options. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is September 29, 2004, with a response date of October 28, 2004. AMENDMENT 1: The Solicitation Package mail out date has been rescheduled until Tuesday, October 12, 2004 with the new submission date set for Friday, November 12, 2004.
