Description
Technical Support For Project Manager Combined Arms Tactical Trainer, (PM CATT) Systems - Post Production Software Support The US Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) has a requirement for non-personal technical support services for Project Manager Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (PM CATT) for Post Production Software Support (PPSS). This effort will consist of system and software engineering, life cycle software support, testing, quality assurance, configuration management, replication, distribution, installation, training, and publications support. This effort will provide facility space, trained labor, tools and test equipment, and materials to maintain and support the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) PPSS Lab, office space for PPSS and other CCTT contractor personnel doing work on the CCTT program. Both customer site and contractor site support is anticipated. PPSS support is planned for a base year (12 months), and four additional 1-year options. The Government intends to make an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract resulting from this solicitation using a best-value basis of award. STRICOM seeks to competitively award this contract on a 100% small business 8(a) set-aside. Delivery orders will be issued on a Firm Fixed-Price or Time and Material basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541330, and the small standard size is $23.0 million. Special non-disclosure and conflict of interest clauses are anticipated provisions of the contract to be awarded. A draft solicitation will be posted on or about October 8, 2004, to the below website. Specific details will be provided in the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) N61339-04-R-0096 which will be posted on the World Wide Web at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/Ebusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm (click on Open Acquisitions) on or about October 15, 2004.
