Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a task order to the McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, for NAVAIR Depot composite repair training for the F/A-18E/F type/model/series. This effort will include eight training modules and events for specified composite repair tasks. As the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer for the F/A-18, MDC is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and experience required to provide repair training necessary to prevent interruption of F/A-18 supportability at the depot maintenance level. The period of performance is expected to be from 30 October 2004 through 30 November 2004. This contract action will be issued as a task order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0009.
