- This solicitation is for small business/set-aside strictly. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for a variety of 16-channel dual range pressure modules with absolute sensors and associated hardware. Market research has found a product that complies with NASA's specifications, and is issuing this announcement seeking competitive bids for products that are "the same or equal too" the following items: Part Numbers with Descriptons DSA3218/16Px-50/300PSIA/10BASE T 16-CHANNEL DUAL RANGE PRESSURE MODULE WITH ABSOLUTE SENSORS, LESS HEATER- QTY NEEDED 1 PIECE DSA3218/16Px-15PSIA/10BASE T 16-CHANNEL PRESSURE MODULE WITH ABSOLUTE SENSORS, LESS HEATER- QTY NEEDED 4 PIECES COOLING KIT FOR DSA3218 MODULES LISTED ABOVE- QTY NEEDED 4 KITS PDM3200 POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE FOR UP TO 4ea. DSA MODULES- QTY NEEDED 1 PIECE POWER CABLE FOR PDM3200, QTY 4 CABLES EACH 10 FOOT LONG PDM1000 POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE FOR 1ea DSA MODULE WITH 10 FOOT CABLE- QTY NEEDED 1 EACH 155829-1 COMBINATION RS232 AND EXTERNAL TRIGGER CABLE- QTY NEEDED 5 EACH 155820-1 ETHERNET CABLE, RJ45 AND BENDIX CONNECTORS, 10 FEET LONG- QTY NEEDED 5 EACH The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Plesae quote as such. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9 Offers for the items(s) described above are due by October 14, 2004 4:30 central time and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
