Description: The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to modify contract number DAAB07-02-D-D001 for Vehicular Intercommunication Systems (AN/VIC-3) in order to extend the contract-ordering period from 21 December 2006 to 20 Dece mber 2008 and increase the ordering ceiling from $49M to $200M. The AN/VIC-3 provides the commander and crewmembers of the Armyâs fleet of combat and combat service support vehicles with a high reliability, noise free digital intercom and radio acces s communication system. The AN/VIC-3 is a customized configuration designed to the unique requirements of individual programs. The AN/VIC-3 can provide communication capabilities simultaneously to a maximum of six crewmen, six radios and one loudspeaker. The modification will be a firm fixed price sole source to the original manufacturer. For delivery specifications, refer to the terms and conditions set forth in the basic contract.
