Description

This solicitation is reopened for the purpose of incorporating an amended Statement of Requirement. Offerors wishing to be considered for this requirement must submit a new or amended Quotation by 1700 Baghdad time on Wed, 6 Oct. STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS COASTAL PATROL BOATS FOR THE IRAQI DIVISION OF BORDER ENFORCEMENT 1.0 GENERAL. The Iraqi Government has a requirement to provide 12 Coastal Patrol Boats for its security services to be able to monitor the coastal regions and oil facility platforms. 2.0 BACKGROUND. The Project and Contracting Office ICW the Civilian Police Assistance Training Team is to provide commercial, in use, and available watercraft to serve as coastal patrol boats for the Division of Border Enforcement. 3.0 REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Commercial Standards Apply. 12 each Coastal Patrol Boats. 3.1 LENGTH. Approximately 8.5 meters 3.2 BEAM. Approximately 2.5 meters 3.3 DISPLACEMENT. Approx. 3.0 tons 3.4 PROPULSION. Twin 150 hp 4-stroke Outboard Motors. 3.5 PERFORMANCE. 35+ knots. 3.6 CREW. 7 passengers. 3.7 FUEL CAPACITY. 75 Gallons 3.8 ADDITIONAL FEATURES. Standard console, Plexiglas windscreen, International navigation lights, Fire Extinguisher, Compass and, Laminated Gunwales. 3.9 INSTALLATION AND TRAINING. Installation of systems and a training course for operators. Training preferred to be in Arabic, but not required. Approximate number of student is 100. Anticipate no longer then a 2 day operator focused course. 4.0 WARRANTY. The vendor will provide a 1 year warranty and spare parts. 34.1 DELIVERY. The vendor will propose best available delivery schedule. All deliveries will be to the port of Umm Qsar. Trailers not required, preferred shipping via cradle.
