Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG81-05-Q-GA013, is issued as an unrestricted request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 1 ? Lodging, 22 Double-Occupancy Rooms, for 93 days, from November 01, 2004 (check in day) thru February 01, 2005 (checkout day). The lodging facility shall be located on STATEN ISLAND, NY only. All lodging rooms shall be furnished with linens, housekeeping, local telephone, cable T.V. services, and parking. Proposals shall include the address of the lodging facility, all available amenities, check-in/out-times and CANCELLATION POLICY before and during occupancy. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government, price, location, cancellation terms and conditions, past performance, quality and other factors considered. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE THE LODGING FACILITY FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U. S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions at 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items (March 2001), 52.232.33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration(U.S.C. 3332)and 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), apply to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (May 2001), shall be completed and submitted with the RFQ. PLEASE READ, COMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION AND PROVISIONS OF ALL CITED FAR CLAUSES. Quotes are due no later than October 15, 2004, 12:00 noon EST, at Commander, U. S.
