DESC: 1015-01-180-3510, Part Number 12321248, The item to procure is a CRANK ASSY. THE CRANK ASSEMBLY F/M1A1 TANK (1015-00-180-3510, PARTS ARE MADE FROM STEEL AND ALUMINUM INVESTMENT CASTINGS AND INCLUDE A COVER ROD, SLIDE AND LEVER ASSEMBLY, SPRING S, HANDLE, PINS AND A SELF ALIGNING BEARING. THE ITEM IS APPROXIMATE SIZE IS 4in X 2in X 2in AND REQUIRES INTERIOR CARC PAINT FINISH. PHOSPHATE COAING IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM. Requirements are 300EA, CRANK ASSY. FOB is DESINATION. For use on the M1A1 TANK. Estimated issue date is 21 OCT 2004. This solicitation and technical drawings will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obt ain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include 3 years of 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
